Sources & standards
Every factual claim on this site carries a source, and every source is ranked by how close it sits to the thing it describes. This page lists all of them.
The rules
- Nothing is invented. No fabricated statistics, studies, URLs or video recommendations. If a claim could not be sourced, the lesson was written without the claim.
- Where sources disagree, the page says so and explains why, rather than picking whichever is convenient.
- Time-sensitive facts carry a date. Pricing, free tiers and interfaces change constantly. Anything that could go stale is marked with when it was checked and tells you to verify it.
- Official does not mean correct. A primary source can be outdated or superseded. The tiers tell you where to look first, not what to believe.
The tiers
- APrimaryOfficial documentation, government, standards, original research.
- BExpertUniversities and established professional organisations.
- CSecondaryTrusted educational and editorial sources.
- DCommunityForums, blogs, video. Useful for experience, not authority.
